Launched in 2017, J Kelly & Associates is a digital marketing practice that operates out of Christchurch, Nelson and Wellington. In 2019 the practice is expanding into the Bay of Plenty region.
With a research first attitude, the practice specialises in digital behaviour and weaving this into the latest digital marketing tactics and strategies. This is done across earned, owned and paid channels. Channel agnostic, the practice is not steeped in generic digital practices and focuses on what will achieve the best results for clients.
Having experience in multiple sectors for B2C and B2B organisations, J Kelly & Associates have particular expertise in the software and technology space. Our work in this space has covered health technology, financial technology, business process management software, business inteligence and robotics. Resource has also been committed to blockchain based projects, despite the technology still being in an early stage of application.

A digital nerd and innovator, James Kelly is the founder of J Kelly & Associates. Before starting the practice in 2017, James worked in the private health sector in both health navigation and technology areas. Before this he has held various marketing roles for Christchurch based organisations and regularly consulted in his free time.
A self proclaimed digital nerd, James loves unravelling the challenges of the digital landscape for organisations and discovering how an audience behaves in it. A prolific user of data, James backs up what he can see with to-the-point behavioural research and is known for generating audience insights that deliver.
Since the age of 12 James has loved all elements of business and brings a strong commercial mind to the table outside of his digital knowledge. He has both a firm understanding and working experience in project and general management, and is quick to grasp the workings of market environments.
